Bri X Bri Fest 2022

bRI X BRI FEST is back!

Birthdays mean so much to my family and I have made it a point to, since I was sixteen years old (the first birthday without my mom), to celebrate each birthday with the people in my life. So when I moved to Austin, I decided to that I needed to celebrate my birthday with my framily (friends turned to family) since I was 1800 miles away from most of mine.

What is Bri X Bri Fest (BXBF)?

Bri X Bri Fest is a three day weekend celebration of my birthday. My birthday always fall around the time of SXSW and so I wanted to take back a little of the city’s wildness and celebrate away from all the parties and installations, on the east side.

It started in 2017, the first birthday I celebrated in Austin, and happened every year up until 2020 when the pandemic caused everything to shut down and this year I am bringing it back.

I love that BXBF gives my Austin friends and family the chance to meet each other and reconnect with the folks who I have introduced them to.
