What ONE YEAR of sticking to the plan looks like. A year ago today I got tired of being frustrated and feeling uncomfortable. So I made a plan one year of consistency. What started off with using 75 Medium as a jumping point has turned into a lifestyle. In this time I have lost 33 pounds and there’s a lot of reflection around this as a person who has always wanted thinness and to be a certain to someone who now wants to be a little muscle mommy and to be healthier and is still in therapy to unpack the ideas around diet culture and thinness. Stay tuned for that deep dive in my next post. Now, this isn’t me saying that YOU need to lose weight in order to “be better” or “increase your worth” but what I am saying is to find something that makes you feel better without outside influence or feedback. YOU deserve to feel your absolute best and I’ll be right here rooting for you.

Back at it after taking a few days off. Did some traveling. Left my job. Started interviewing and applying for new ones. Life has been lifing you might say but even with all that going on I have been keeping the promise to myself to keep showing up. I am so excited (and very proud) to celebrate my one year of gym consistency this week. What started off as me just wanting to be comfortable while standing beside two of my friends on their wedding days has turned into reaching goals that I never thought I would.
